Today I began a new project that I hope to continue for the next several months and possibly for a few years. During my rides into work along the canal, I see some pretty cool wildlife. Now, with the Elph, I can stop, snap a few pics and keep on heading into work. I've already got accesories on the way for the camera but so far its a champ.
Not quite sure about some of the features and how to get them to work on my Mac but overall I couldn't be happier really.

All Star Farce, or Why Does Bud Selig Suck So Badly?

At least on the digi-cam front. I'm one of many, many people that is shocked at how badly Bud Selig dealt with the extra innings All Star Game last night. How hard is it to come up with a Homer Off? Pick five guys from each team, they each get five swings. Whoever gets the most balls out of the park wins. Why is Bud Selig trying his damnedest to kill off baseball? He professes to love the game but has no sense of what a fan wants to see.

That and how about snubbing Ted Williams' legacy but not even having an MVP to win the Ted Williams Trophy or whatever its called now. How outrageously lame! No MVP because no one won the game? What? There was plenty of offense, what about Konerko? Bonds? Giambi? Soriano? Pick one, any of them but don't let the first year of honoring Ted Williams end up sitting on the shelf.

Yes, I understand the deal with not wanting to injure players by extending the game past 11 innings. But a homer off would have gotten around that handily and everyone would have been happy. I'm often quite astonished by the utter lack of creativity in the world.

But I've got more than enough to keep me rolling all day so I've got to get off the blog and back on the work.
